Quick answer
Essential Massage gift vouchers start at £25 and are valid for 24 months. Choose a treatment or an amount, message or call to order, and a PDF voucher can be emailed the same day once payment has cleared.
A massage voucher from Essential Massage is a Christmas present she can actually use: any amount from £25, or a set treatment, from a 20-minute Indian head massage to a 90-minute full-body treatment. Vouchers are valid for 24 months, and a PDF voucher can be with you the same day once payment has cleared.
This is a women-only studio in a private log cabin in Stoke-on-Trent, and I am the only therapist. Whoever you buy for gets me from start to finish, on a day that suits her, rather than something squeezed into the week before Christmas.
Gift ideas by budget
- £25: Indian head massage. Twenty minutes, seated and fully clothed. A good first gift for someone who would find a full massage daunting.
- £35: Pregnancy massage taster. Thirty minutes, from 14 weeks of pregnancy. The gentlest way to give a first pregnancy massage.
- £60: One hour, her choice. Swedish, aromatherapy, deep tissue, warm bamboo, hot stone or reflexology. She decides when she books, so you do not have to guess.
- £90: Ninety minutes. The same choice of treatments, with time to stop watching the clock.
- £300: A six-session package. She pays for five sessions and the sixth is free, so £300 covers the lot. She books each one separately, whenever she likes.
If you are not sure what she would enjoy, a voucher for an amount is often the kinder option. She can put it towards whichever treatment she likes and pay any difference on the day.
If she is expecting a baby
Pregnancy massage is what I am known for. I hold FHT-accredited pregnancy massage training, I start from 14 weeks, and you lie on your side, supported with cushions, for the whole treatment.
If she has never had one, the 30-minute taster is the easy first step. If she already knows she likes massage, give her the full hour. Either way the voucher lasts 24 months, so it still works after the baby arrives. More about pregnancy massage.
How to buy a voucher
- Call, text or WhatsApp me on 07929 150246. Tell me what you would like, who it is for, and the date you need it by.
- I reply personally to confirm, usually the same day, and send you the payment details.
- Once payment lands, the voucher goes out: a PDF by email, or a printed card to collect from the studio.
- She gets in touch when she is ready, and I book her in.
There is no online checkout, and no card details are taken through the website. Everything is on the gift vouchers page.
Leaving it late?
A PDF voucher can be emailed the same day once payment has cleared, so it works for a last-minute present. If you would like a printed card, message me with the date you need it by and I will tell you what is possible.
Why a massage voucher works as a gift
Most women are shortest of time in December, and a voucher gives her some back. She picks the day and the treatment herself. Nobody else is around while she is here either: it is just her and me in the cabin, and there is no waiting room to sit in.
It is also forgiving. Vouchers are valid for 24 months, and if plans change she can pass hers on to someone else. If massage turns into a habit, a voucher can go towards a six-session package too.
