About these terms

These terms apply to bookings and enquiries made through essentialmassage.uk and directly with Essential Massage (Francia Gregory, 8 Withies Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 5QR).

Bookings

  • All bookings are for women only.
  • Bookings are confirmed by email. Your appointment is secured once you receive a confirmation.
  • Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent appointments.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate health information during the intake process. Certain conditions may affect suitability for treatment — contact us if you are unsure.

Cancellation and rescheduling

  • We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or rearrange a booking, so the time can be offered to someone else.
  • If you are unwell, just let us know as early as you can and we will rearrange your appointment, no charge and no fuss. Please do not attend if you are contagious.
  • If something comes up at short notice, get in touch and we will find another time that works.

Payment

  • Payment is made in person after your session. We do not take online payments.
  • Packages (six sessions for £330): sessions are booked and paid individually. Francia tracks your remaining package sessions.

Gift vouchers

  • Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of issue.
  • Each voucher carries a unique number. Please quote it when booking so it can be checked against our records.
  • A voucher may be redeemed against any treatment, or against individual sessions within a package.
  • If the treatment costs more than the voucher, the difference is payable on the day. If it costs less, the remaining balance stays on the voucher for a future visit.
  • Vouchers may be passed on to someone else. Please tell us the new name when booking.
  • Vouchers are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • If your voucher has recently expired, please get in touch. We would rather find a solution than turn you away.

Health and safety

  • Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment. If you have a medical condition, please consult your GP before booking.
  • Pregnancy massage: if you have a high-risk pregnancy or any complications, please speak to your midwife or GP before booking.
  • We reserve the right to decline or end a session if there is a clinical reason to do so, with your safety as the priority.

Liability

Essential Massage carries professional liability insurance. We are not liable for any adverse reaction arising from information you have not disclosed during the intake process.
